Make Your Next Meeting A Good One
✔︎ PLAN TO GET THE MEETING INTO FLOW IMMEDIATELY
People often arrive at a meeting with something on their mind.
Take care of that first or it can disrupt the transformative flow of the meeting.
The something on their mind is typically a conclusion that they have arrived at and its seemingly urgent implications for them (could be meeting related or an issue unrelated to you or the meeting).
Take care of top of mind issues first or get participants to agree that letting them go for now is okay. Align consciousness first to begin the meeting flow.

✔︎ NEXT, AGREE ON THE ENERGETIC ARENA
Establish energetic guidance – think of resonance as the genesis or root of a rewarding experience, a rewarding meeting and a rewarding business.
After handling distracting issues, summarize the resonant arena that holds everyone together as a reminder of the underlying reason for the group meeting in the first place. For example, in a recycling business, you could describe the resonant arena by saying: “Being in an environment where something new is created out of something old resonates with all of us!” (not a common goal but a common arena).
Re-state the common resonant arena at least several times during the meeting so that everyone is reminded of what holds them together and fundamentally guides them.

✔︎ THEN AGREE ON RELEVANT ACTIVITIES RATHER THAN WHAT IS TRUE
Next, approach the Organizing Mind or planning part of the meeting as establishing how to go on with each other, not on establishing likemindedness or agreement on what is true.
So, after summarizing the resonant arena, you might say something like: “In today’s meeting I want to talk about how Dept A and Dept B can work together more effectively in making the magic of renewal happen.”
State that general goal of the meeting and then work towards defining individual (and sub-group) goals at the level that each group member can work towards independently.
Let each individual know where and how they can find resources to further their work.

✔︎ SUPPORT INTUITIVE GUIDIANCE
Encourage and support participants in making intuitive choices as a natural and expected aspect of engagement in their work. Tell them intuition is natural, not a learned ability.
It takes courage for individuals to make intuitive choices and to support others in doing the same – it is also key to a transformative experience, meeting and business.
When they are in doubt about an intuitive choice, tell them to remind themselves of: the group energetic arena; the group high level goals; and their relevant individual goals – then make the intuitive choice.
✔︎ LEAD WITH GOOD MEETINGS
Your leadership in meetings ultimately has everyone knowing how they can go on with each other to both engage in an energetic arena that resonates with them, while simultaneously engaging in discovery and engagement in both their own and the group’s current purpose.
